The Center for Environmental Education and Sustainability (CEES) is a decentralized, sustainable public educational institution operating under the Ministry of Education. Its primary focus is on environmental education and its promotion at local, national, and international levels. The ultimate aim of our Center is to cultivate environmental awareness and sensitize learners, enabling them to perceive the environment holistically and approach it through an interdisciplinary lens. Through our initiatives, we develop, promote, and implement innovative educational methods oriented toward environmental preservation and sustainable development.
Our Scope of Activities Includes:
- Implementing Environmental Education programs for all educational levels, including adult education institutions such as Second Chance Schools and Institutes of Vocational Training.
- Producing educational and supportive materials for use by educators across all educational levels.
- Organizing events and activities focused on environmental and sustainability issues.
- Hosting seminars for educators aligned with our goals and programs.
- Advancing research in the field of Environmental Education.
- Disseminating the outcomes and impacts of our activities.

We are teachers who are seeking an institution to host us as part of our KA122ADU application for job shadowing. Our area of expertise is environmental education and sustainability. Our organization is a Center of Education for the Environment and Sustainability in the city of Naoussa in Greece (K.E.PE.A of Naoussa). We are also open to collaboration as part of a consortium.
