Professional Development Initiatives for Educators
The Center for Environmental Education and Sustainability (C.E.E.S) of Naoussa organizes structured professional development programs for educators on an annual basis, with the primary objective of equipping teachers with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively integrate environmental education into the school curriculum.Through these programs, educators become familiar with interdisciplinary approaches, experiential learning methodologies, and innovative pedagogical tools, thereby enriching their teaching practices.

Furthermore, workshops and seminars serve as platforms for the exchange of experiences and best practices, fostering the development of an expanded educational community. This collaborative network contributes to the advancement of environmental and sustainability education, which is fundamental to cultivating responsible and environmentally conscious citizens.

The C.E.E.S. of Naoussa has implemented various training programs, including Introductory Seminars on Environmental Education, Thematic Level A Training, and specialized seminars within the framework of its National Thematic Networks, namely “Industrial Heritage” and “Agriculture and Environment”.
